Writing

Well, I am still waiting for my beta readers to get back to me. In the meantime I am 55,844 words into my new book. I love to write and hope that one day soon my books will get published and others can enjoy my stories. I really appreciate the encouragement from friends and family and hope that we will be seeing my books in print very soon. They are a labor of love.

I have been practicing my piano and reading Melissa Fosters book when I am not writing.

I hope that you all are doing something you love as well. Oh for there to be more hours in the day.

Progress

OK, I had some feedback from Queenie Leenie, she says she loves the story of my first book so far. She has made some really awesome suggestions and been so helpful. I am still working on the next story, it seems to be coming along well. I am actually revisiting the beginning of the story at this point.

Talked with my cousin Linda tonight, it has been a long time. Loved talking with her and hearing her thoughts. I wish I had the talent you have Linda for designing a blog page! :-)

My youngest daughters baby shower is this weekend so after that is over I will hopefully have more time to devote to the books! She is so excited, this is her first baby.

OK, I am off of here, heading to bed since I have to work tomorrow.

Oh one more thought, Melissa Foster will be launching her new book on November 1st! I can't wait

Progress

OK, my book is now with my Beta readers and I am waiting their response and comments. In the mean time I am back to working on my next book that I had parked while I finished the one they are reading. I am pretty anxious now as I have to do the synopsis and I have never done one! Help Beta readers. :-)

I don't know how much I will get done the next few weeks as the date of Erica's baby shower is fast approaching. So my stuff will get put on the back burner. Such is life.

Hopefully my cousin Linda will follow my blog soon!

Megan's Way by Melissa Foster

Megan and Holly have been friends since childhood. In 1988 the girls spent $3.00 to have their futures told at the fairgrounds by a psychic. At the end of their readings the psychic told them "one will be released and returned after death." As they ran from her tent she screamed after them "With this spell I empower thee!" They share secrets that they have never told anyone.
21 years later Megan has a teenage daughter Olivia and cancer. She fears leaving her child alone after her death.
Holly has a secret and worries that when she is with Olivia, others around them would know what she has done not only to herself but to Megan and Olivia,
This book will draw you into the lives of these women and Megan's young daughter with many twists and turns along the way.
This book is a must read!

Hello

Well, here I am new to the blogging world. I was encouraged to do this by my sister and cousin. I am following my sister's blog and hope that she will follow mine. I am still trying to figure out how to follow my cousins blog!
I love to read. I have 8 grandchildren and one more on the way. I am in the process of writing what I hope will be my first book. Hopefully that will pan out and you will be reading about it here.
I am not sure about what else to write here today but will be posting about books that I am reading as well.
I look forward to hearing from everyone and hope that I will learn more about this as I go along! Thanks Queenie Leenie for getting me started!
