I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I can't believe Christmas is only 23 days away! We still have a few last minutes gifts to pick up but we did get most of the shopping done last weekend. Whew, with 11 grands, a great-grandson, four daughters and grandson-in-laws and son-in laws it feels never ending at times.

I know I sent an email out about the newly released Christmas set I am in called Whispers of Winter. It's only 99 pennies for a short time longer. Why not grab something to warm you up on these cold winter nights?

My contribution Christmas Choices is included in the set and I wanted to share another six sentances this week:

As they walked through the remains of the café, Rhian forced herself not to cry. She shoved her emotions down deep and resigned herself to the fact that as long as she lived in this town, she would never be able to show her feelings to anyone. Her father meant well, but he constantly tried to control everything about her life. He had even decided where she would live when she wanted a place of her own. She found out after moving into her apartment, he owned the building and screened anyone applying to live there.

Here's the set it's in:

Hugs everyone!

Another Six Sentence Sunday

Here is another six sentences from one of my books. I shared a post Thursday with a new Christmas Set so I thought I would share six sentences from my book in the set.

She turned into the parking lot of the pub just as Kellen roared in on a huge, black Harley Davidson. She watched how the muscles in his arms rippled as he guided the bike to a stop, slid the kickstand down, and leaned the bike over. He dismounted and ran his fingers through his hair with his back to her. She licked her lips then put her hands over her face and moaned. Get yourself together, girl. She opened her door and stepped out.

Happy reading!

Hugs

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all are doing good and getting ready for your Thanksgiving holiday with your family. Ours will be a bit smaller this year as our daughter and her family moved to Texas. We were so sad to see them go but they are on a new journey in their lives. Sometimes it is good to start anew.

This week I want to share with you a bit more of my new book Now Maybe which I just published as an audiobook this week! My first one.

Here is a little more of a tease for you:

"I'm not what you think I am, Liam. You don’t know me. I’m an illusion of the person you are describing, and it breaks my heart to hear you describe me that way.”
Liam sat down hard. “I don’t believe that for a second. You’ve gotten through to me."

Hope to see you around and happy reading!

Hugs,
Sharon

Happy Sunday! Fall is here and the weather is cooling down fast! Why not curl up in a cozy chair and read something that warms you up on this cold day? Here are six sentences from my new book Now Maybe:

“He’s not Nathan,” Chelsea said softly. “Not all men join the military and get themselves missing. Plus, this is just a summer thing, Sophie. Not a forever thing.” She clicked the bedside lamp on, turned the over-head off, and sat down on the bed. “It might be the best thing for you.”

Can you believe it's October already? Fall is in the air already. This year is flying by.

Do you like fantasy/paranormal reads? This week I am going to share a few sentences from my adult read Safe With You:

Tugging a dark cloth off a large mirror, Tegan started a singsong chant. The face of the mirror began to swirl.
“Come. Follow me quickly.” She stepped into the mirror as Easton stared after her. “Hurry!” Her voice echoed around the room.
Easton stepped through, holding onto the side of the mirror for just a moment. Dizziness hit him for a second as nausea clenched his stomach. Darkness swallowed him, and just as he thought he was lost, he suddenly found himself on secure footing in a beautiful meadow of grass and wildflowers surrounded by a forest. The scent of flowers and the sight of the bright blue, cloudless sky meeting the dark green of the trees assaulted his senses.
He swore he could feel the energy of the earth beneath his feet, pulsing through him. He blinked and

rubbed his eyes before he turned to find Tegan standing in front of a beautiful, slender woman in a

dark emerald gown.

Hey everyone! Hope you have enjoyed your summer. I can't believe the kids are back in school already and we only have 3 month until Christmas! YIKES. It's been a crazy summer for us, two graduations and a wedding. That almost sounds like a movie title doesn't it? Oh, we also found out last night that the second great-grandchild is a girl! Yay for us.

So today I want to share six sentences out of one of my Christmas books, Candi Kane Kisses. Maybe you can pick it up and get yourself in the mood for Christmas early!

Making her way up onto the large porch, she knocked on the door, feeling the butterflies swarm through her stomach again. She looked down at her feet, took a deep breath, and plastered a smile on her face when she heard the door open.
As she glanced up, she took in the sight of a pair of large cowboy boots, a pair of nicely fitted blue jeans, and a long sleeve T-shirt tight enough to show the hint of washboard abs. As her eyes went higher, she saw a chiseled jaw, a handsome nose, and the most drop-dead gorgeous, steel blue eyes she’d ever seen. Her breath caught in her throat as his eyes bore into hers. She took a step backwards.
“Hello, I’m Holly Kane. I rented a room in one of the cabins,” she said in one breath.
